Hydra Billing supports two types of data migration from the previous billing solution:
- Full migration via some intermediate data schema.
- Simplified loading of customers, contracts, and equipment.
The first option is more complicated, however, it allows the full migration of all necessary data including the history of payments and charges for customer accounts.
The second option is suitable for providers with a small customer base when some part of the data is to be entered manually. This method certainly excludes the following:
- matching product catalogs and statuses between the old and the new billing systems;
- export the cash flow history for customer accounts;
- export logins and passwords for PPP access and Customer Self-Care Portal;
- export customer account balances.
